How can I reschedule or cancel my test date?
For iBT
To reschedule or cancel your registration, make your request no later than 3 days before your test date (not including the day of your request or the day of the test).
The rescheduling fee is US$50. Your original registration fee must be paid before you can reschedule.
Note: You cannot reschedule or cancel by mail or e-mail or at the test center.
Refund Policy
If you cancel your appointment no later than 3 days prior to your test date, you will receive a refund equivalent to half of the original test fee. Allow 8-12 weeks for your refund to be processed.
- Complete the Refund Request Form.
- Your Refund Request Form must be received within 60 days after your canceled appointment or voucher expiration date.

- If you paid by credit/debit card or e-check, the refund will be credited back to the original credit/debit card or bank account.
- If you paid by personal check drawn on a U.S. domestic bank, allow 10 weeks for processing. If payment was made in non-U.S. funds drawn on a bank outside the U.S., allow 12 weeks.
Caution
- Services may be withheld for nonpayment of fees. If you do not submit the correct fee, your registration or request for service will be returned.
- Receipts for bank checks or money orders are not acceptable. The actual negotiable check or money order must be sent with your request for service.
For PBT
Registration cannot be canceled and test dates cannot be changed after you have mailed your registration form.
If you do not take the test and do not register for another test, you may apply for a partial refund.
To request a partial refund of US$65:
- Complete the Refund Request Form.
- Send the form and your admission ticket within 60 days of your test date to:

Refund Procedures
Refunds will be in U.S. dollars. Cash refunds are not available.
