IJT nazims to be expelled from PU

LAHORE, April 19(Dawn): Following the alleged hooliganism and disruption of Pharmacy Fair by Islami Jamiat Tulaba activists, the Punjab University Deans' committee on Wednesday decided that any student, who would be nominated as IJT nazim in any department or college or claims to be holding the political office will be expelled from the varsity.

The committee also decided that such action would be taken without issuance of any show-cause notice as it was tantamount to running a parallel administration in the varsity.

"Its nonsense! why are they shattering student community every where? specially one with Islamic background. these musical programs should be crushed at least at campuses. They should know that they cannot stop student power.students are future of nation.they should have given right to elect their representatives at University n departmental level. If teachers say theyve been beaten by students, what they were doing at musical program.v should feel shame of such people n not say them teachers."
