IJT demands enquiry into Dow VC's acts
Karachi, Aug 3: The Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) has demanded an enquiry into the
high-handedness and autocracy of the Vice Principal of Dow Medical College
because, they say, he is running the college like a military camp.

Azeem, in charge of IJT (Western Zone), while leading a protest demonstration
outside the Karachi Press Club, drew the attention of the media about the
increase in the fee of the college and the rustication of a final year student
Usman Tariq from the college.
He claimed that these acts were proof of
the unilateralism that has become a norm in the college. He said that it was not
for the first time that the vice principal had acted in such a repressive
manner. He had a very bad track record and his armed guards posted outside his
office behaved rudely with the students when they wanted to meet him on official
