Madrassa exams 2007 start

KARACHI, Aug 3: The annual examinations 2007 of religious seminaries commenced Thursday in which thousands of students from all over the country have enrolled.

About 4,000 students are appearing for the examinations, according to a Jamia Binoria press release issued Thursday.

Shaikhul Hadith Maulana Abdul Hameed was deputed as the controller of examinations of Jamia Binoria for the 2007 session. The administrator and Shaikhul Hadith of Jamia Binoria, Mufti Naeem, said that more seminary students had enrolled this year as compared to last year and he hoped that the number of students would increase next academic year. He praised the seminary system and said that it was "cheating free" and set an example for other education institutions. He said that the propaganda against Islam was making this system stronger. ppi
