Pindi HSSC Part-I results announced

RAWALPINDI, Aug 26: The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) on Saturday announced the results of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-I Examination, 2007.

A total of 40,891 candidates appeared in the examination, of which 15,075 passed in all subjects. The examination was held in April-June 2007. When contacted, RBISE Examination Controller Hamayun Iqbal said that only three cases of unfair means were reported in the examination, which were not of serious nature. He said detailed mark sheets (DMCs) of regular candidates had been dispatched to their respective colleges.

According to the RBISE rules, if there are one or more subjects mentioned against the roll number and name of a candidate, it means that the student has the option to appear in the subject (s) along with the Part-II annual examination 2008. Daily times
