Ex-Principal of DJ College passes away

KARACHI, July 16: Former college professor, Mehboob Ali Khan, who had retired as principal, passed away on Sunday evening. "He was one of the senior most English professors, and was posted as principal while also serving at the Government DJ Science College and Government Superior Science College," said Anees Zaidi, former president of the Principals Association of Karachi Colleges.

Prof. Khan leaves behind two sons and one daughter. His funeral prayers will be offered on Monday after Zuhar prayers at Kibria Masjid, House 261 in C.P. & Berar Society Karachi.

Anees Zaidi said that Prof. Khan was a loving and sociable person, and that the DJ College is known to a number of people because of him. "Mehboob Khan actively participated in teacher-related activities," said Zaidi, who was also a friend of Prof. Khan. Daily times
