Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) postpones exam papers

Islamabad, June 13, 2008: Due to the lawyers' long march, the Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) administration has postponed at least 36 examination papers that were set for today (Friday). A senior official of the QAU said on Thursday that the university had taken the decision following the roads leading to the university had been blocked partially. Daily Times

Essay writing contest by CCEP
Islamabad: Centre for Civic Education Pakistan (CCEP) has invited essays from students across the country here in September to give them an opportunity to share their opinion on democracy and democratic citizenship in the country.

Spokesman for the CCEP said on Thursday the essay writing contest was part of the centre's proposed democracy festival to be held on September 15 to celebrate the first World Democracy Day. App
