IIU, Women Campus holds book fair, computer exhibition

Islamabad, Oct 25: One-day book fair and computer exhibition held at International Islamic University Islamabad, Women Campus, here Wednesday under the auspices of students activities department, says a press release.

Wife of Press Attache of Saudi Arabia Madam Shurah was the chief guest on the occasion and poetess and Columnist Ayesha Masood Malik presided over the ceremony. Speaking at the opening ceremony Madam Shurah appreciated the interest of the students in book fair and added that books are integral part of an healthy society.

Columnist Ayesha said book are the asset of life and provide guidance to the students. She also presented few verses of her poetry. IIU Women Campus Director Professor Farhat Mujtaba said that conducting such kind of healthy activities aimed at making IIU women campus a bacon of love, harmony and unity. She congratulated all the students who participated in holding this exhibition. Guest took a round of all the books stalls and praised the selection of books displayed. The News
