Schools, colleges to remain closed on 4th, 10th

Karachi, Oct 2, 2007: All private and government schools and colleges will remain closed on October 4 and 10, the 21st and 27th of Ramazan.

The provincial government announced that all educational institutions will remain closed on October 4, 21st Ramadan on the day of Shadat-e-Hazrat Ali, while on 27th Ramazan, October 10 due to Lailalat-ul-Qadr respectively.

This decision was taken at a meeting of the steering committee of the Education Department. Mansoob Siddiqui, Director Schools, has warned that strict action would be taken against those schools and colleges who violate rules under the registration act. The News
