Is two years Nursing experience necessary?
No, fresh graduates with a BSc Nursing or a minimum 2-year nursing diploma can directly apply for MOHAP exam/licensure without experience. Regardless of experience, there should be no gap in practice exceeding two years, or otherwise documented clinical training may be required. Specialist Nurses (e.g., ICU, ER, OR) still require 2 years' specialty experience after basic registration.
What are Preparation Tips for Nursing exam?
One may best prepare for MOHAP Nursing exam following these preparation tips:
- Use Saunders NCLEX Review and Mosby's Nursing Exam Review books.
- Focus on Adult Health Nursing & Maternal-Child Nursing, since they are usually asked mostly in the actual exam.
- Make sure that you have proper understanding with the UAE-specific policies for infection control, patient rights, and medico-legal rules.
