MOHAP License conversion to HAAD/DOH
Healthcare professionals who are working in the UAE and want to convert or transfer their MOHAP (Ministry of Health and Prevention) license to a DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) license so they can work in Abu Dhabi hospitals or clinics. They must follow step by step guideline for this conversion process. If your license has expired, you may still apply but might be asked to reactivate it first under MOHAP before conversion.
Can a healthcare professional keep both licenses active?
No. Only one license will be active under your current employer. However, you can deactivate one and reactivate the other later if you change jobs between Emirates.
