What are MOHAP exam requirements for General Dentists?
To apply as General Dentist for MOHAP exam, one should;
- Have successfully completed 5 year’s dental degree (i.e. BDS, DDS, DMD or its equivalent) from a recognized dental school listed on Avicenna database (formerly WHO directory of medical and dental school).
- Have completed one year housejob / internship afterwards.
- Have registration and practice license from their home country.
- Have atleast 2 years post-internship clinical experience.
What are MOHAP Requirements for Specialist & Consultant Exam?
To apply as specialist or consultant for MOH exam, one should;
- Have primary dental degree from a recognized dental school listed on Avicenna database (formerly WHO directory of medical and dental school).
- Have completed post-graduation certificate comprising of minimum 2 (two) years duration as per recognized specialty certificates. But for some specialties like Orthodontics, Endodontics, Prosthodontics requirements may vary.
- Have registration and valid practice license from his/her home country or country of last employment.
- Have NO interruption in clinical practice for more than 2 years. Based upon clinical experience, candidate is allocated to different tiers.
