A dentist uses reversible hydrocolloid (agar) for a crown impression. The agar is boiled to liquefy it, stored at about 65 °C, then tempered at about 46 °C before use, and it remains fluid at this temperature. It gels in the mouth when water-cooled trays bring it to about 37 to 45 °C. What is the name of the property that lets agar liquefy and gel at different temperatures?

What subscribers say
The DHA General Dentist Qbank was useful overall. A few more pediatric dentistry questions would be helpful.
Dr. Arjun MehtaI practiced on my phone between patients, which helped me stay consistent.
Dr. Reem Al OtaibiThe oral surgery questions on extraction complications and local anesthesia were very practical. The questions covered anatomy, anesthetic techniques and managing complications in a practical way. They reminded me of details I had forgotten since dental school, several of which came up again on exam day.

General dentists who hold documented completion of all parts of certain recognized international licensing exams may be eligible for exemption from the DHA Prometric exam. Recognized qualifying exams include the Australian Dental Council exam, the National Dental Examining Board of Canada exam, the Irish Dental Council exam, the New Zealand Dental Registration Exam (NZDREX), the Overseas Registration Exam (ORE, for non-UK graduates, not exceeding 5 years old), and National Board Dental Examination Parts I & II. Exemption isn't automatic, it requires a separate application with supporting proof and is confirmed directly by DHA.
