DHA license renewal procedure, expiry date
Healthcare professional can renew his DHA health license which remains valid for 1 year. One can renew it for up to 6 months after expiry date but a late renewal penalty of AED 600 may apply (as per health category). If you are unable to renew it even after 6 months then DHA may cancel your health license and you would then likely need to reapply for a new license.
Can I renew my license for more than 1 year?
Yes, you can renew your health license for 1, 2, or 3 years. The renewal cost may vary as per the health category. For a GP license, you may be asked a renewal fee accordingly; AED 3,000 for 1 year, AED 5,000 for 2 years, AED 7,500 for 3 years.
