These are the list of general requirements needed while applying for DHA (Dubai Health Authority) Dubai Nursing exam, more specifically for registered and assistant nurses;
What are education requirements for Registered Nurses (RN)?
As per new Unified Healthcare Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR), Registered Nurses no longer need two (2) years working experience from fresh graduates, those who;
- Have freshly graduated from recognied medical school within last 2 years.
What are education requirements for Assistant Nurses (AN)?
Assistant Nurses also no longer need two (2) years experience from fresh graduates, if having Diploma in Nursing (not less than eighteen (18) months course duration).
What are DHA Nursing General Requirements?
- If having working experience, than should have experience certificate issued by the facility of practice and signed by the Human Resources Department, or Medical Director.
- Applicant should not have more than two (2) years working gap.
- Applicant should have BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate.
- Applicant should have 'positive' Dataflow PSV Report.
- Applicant should have Inter certificates and mark-sheets / transcripts.
- Applicant should have a valid nursing license in country of graduation and/or country of last employment.
- Applicant should have a recent Good Standing Certificate (GSC) from the country of last employment (Certificates are only valid for six (6) months from date of issue).
- Applicant should have a valid passport, not expiring within atleast eight (8) months from the time of starting application process.
- Application should have passport size photograph with white background.
