OMSB Oman exam and Dataflow process
Oman Medical Specialty Board(OMSB) licensing process for doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists and other allied health professionals are required to pass OMSB written exam and some may be required to pass Oral/Viva exam to be able to practice in the Sultanate of Oman. OMSB exam involves a number of registration processes, such as;
- DataFlow Process: To ensure that all the related documents are authentic after verification from the source.
- Written Exam: Pearson Vue/Prometric based tests are conducted worldwide based upon different healthcare categories.
- Viva/Oral Exam: For some of the health categories, it requires candidate to appear in Viva/Oral exam after successfully passing written exam.
- Exam Result: Candidate is informed about the result as Pass/Fail, instead of showing breakups of obtained marks.
- License Activation: After passing the exam and meeting the employment requirements, OMSB issues the medical license.
How many attempts are allowed for OMSB exam?
There are 3 allowed attempts in a single calender year.
