DOH /HAAD exemption criteria for Pediatric doctor
Pediatric doctor can be exempted from written exam if he/she has;
- Successfully completed specialty qualification, such as MD Pediatrics, Board Certification or equivalent residency from recognized institution or health regulatory body may be considered exempted for written DOH exam.
- Valid license in home country/last practicing country as a Pediatrician.
- Sufficient post-specialty clinical experience as per PQR requirement for Specialists.
- No significant gap in practice (>2 years) unless mitigated by CME / supervised training.
Do I need to apply for the exemption, or is it automatic?
Healthcare professional will be required to apply for 'exam exemption' in licensing application via TAMM portal. He will be required to provide all documents to help DOH assess your eligibility for exam exemption.

"u can attent the exam one you finished next one is after months, three times like that ,after 1 year gap for the 4th chance, first you go through the DOH website once finish your DOH/HAAD Dataflow process, after same documet need to submit to onlne to doh, they will issiue username & pw for that. when you got the approoval after you get the exam date."
