DoH Abu Dhabi DataFlow Process: Step by Step Guideline 2026

DOH DataFlow Process Quick Summary

The DOH DataFlow process is the primary source verification (PSV) of your degree, internship, experience and licences, checked directly with the institutions that issued them. You start it after submitting your DOH application on TAMM. DOH lists 24 working days for PSV, and the package fee is AED 1,260 for GPs and dentists, AED 1,680 for specialists and consultants, and AED 990 for other categories.

Every healthcare professional applying for a Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi licence, formerly HAAD, has to clear primary source verification. DOH does not take your attested copies at face value. A third-party verification agency, DataFlow Group, contacts your university, hospitals and licensing bodies and asks them to confirm each document. Only a positive PSV report lets your application move on to DOH review and the exam.

What is DOH DataFlow (PSV) and why is it needed?

PSV means the document is verified at its primary source, the organisation that issued it. A degree is checked with the university, an experience letter with the hospital, a licence with the medical council. DOH uses this to confirm that you hold the qualifications, experience and licences you claim. Certificates from your own country's attestation chain do not replace it.

One point that saves people money: DOH only accepts PSV reports addressed to DOH. If you already have a DataFlow report for DHA, MOHAP or another country, you apply for a report re-issuance (transfer) to DOH rather than starting from zero, and you can add new documents at that stage. What are DOH DataFlow Process Steps?

STEP 1
Create your TAMM profile and UIN
Sign in to the TAMM portal with UAE PASS and generate your Unique Identification Number (UIN). UAE residents use their Emirates ID. Applicants outside the UAE register with a mobile number and email.
STEP 2
Submit your new licence application on TAMM
Choose your professional category and title (GP, specialist, nurse, pharmacist, allied health and so on), upload the documents DOH asks for at this stage and pay the application fee shown in TAMM.
STEP 3
Apply for PSV on the DataFlow website
Upload your passport, degree, transcript, internship, experience letters, licences and good standing certificate to the verification agency's portal, using the details from your DOH application. STEP 4
Track your case and answer queries
You get a case number by email. Use it to check your DataFlow application status, and reply quickly if DataFlow marks anything as missing or insufficient.
STEP 5
DOH review, then exam access
Once the report is positive, DOH reviews your file (listed as 5 working days). If you are approved for an exam, your Pearson VUE access opens and you can schedule your DOH exam.

What are required documents?

Scan every document in colour, clearly, and keep each file readable at normal zoom. A blurred stamp is enough to send a file back. The usual set is:

  • Valid passport (personal details page).
  • Medical, nursing, pharmacy or other basic degree, with transcript.
  • Internship or house job completion certificate, where your category needs one.
  • Experience letters for every period you claim, with exact start and end dates.
  • Professional licences or registrations, including renewals.
  • Postgraduate qualifications for specialist and consultant titles.
  • Good standing certificate, issued within the last 6 months.

How much DataFlow costs?

The DOH Licensing Procedure Manual lists the PSV package prices by category:

The amount shown at payment on the DataFlow portal is the one that applies. Extra documents added later, or a re-verification after a negative or "unable to verify" result, can add to the cost. How long does DOH DataFlow take?

DOH gives 24 working days as the PSV time frame, counted from a complete submission with payment. That is a little under five calendar weeks. Then DOH's own review takes about 5 working days.

In practice the clock depends on how fast your sources reply. A university that answers emails in a week is fine. A hospital that closed, or a records office that wants a fee and a signed form, can add weeks. If your case passes the 24 working days, check its status and the remarks on it before you chase anyone, because the hold-up is often a document query waiting for you.

Common mistakes during DOH DataFlow?

Most DataFlow delays come from a short list of avoidable problems:

  • Unclear scans. Faded stamps, cut-off edges or photos taken at an angle.
  • Experience details that do not match. Dates on the form must match the dates on the letter.
  • Name mismatch across documents. A different spelling or a married name needs a supporting document, such as a name-change affidavit or marriage certificate.
  • Sources not told in advance. Tell your university and employers that DataFlow will contact them, and give them the right contact person.

Not as it is. DOH only accepts PSV reports addressed to DOH. If your report was issued for DHA, MOHAP or another authority, apply for a report re-issuance (transfer) to DOH, and add any new documents at the same time.

Do I complete DataFlow before or after applying on TAMM?

After. Under the current DOH process you create your TAMM profile and UIN, submit your new licence application, and then complete PSV through the verification agency. DOH reviews your file once the PSV report is positive, and only then opens exam booking.

What happens if my DataFlow report is negative or unable to verify?

DOH will not move your application forward on a negative report. Find out which document failed and why, fix the issue with the issuing institution, and ask DataFlow about re-verification, which is usually charged. If a source cannot be reached, ask whether an alternative proof is accepted.

Team Interface: DOH's listed PSV time frame is 24 working days, so six weeks is close to that limit. Open your case on the DataFlow status page and read the remarks, because a pending query from DataFlow is the usual reason. Team Interface: Cancel or reschedule through your Pearson VUE account rather than the test centre. DOH's manual says a CBT booking can be rescheduled or cancelled with a refund if you do it at least 72 hours before the appointment.
