How to work in UAE Emirates with MOHAP license?
Holding a MOHAP(Ministry of Health and Prevention) health license may enable you to practice within UAE Emirates such as Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), but not in all Emirates which excludes the Dubai and Abu Dhabi/Al Ain. A healthcare professional must go through certain processes to be able to earn the MOHAP health license, such as;
- Complete DataFlow PSV (Primary Source Verification)
- Pass MOHAP Evaluation exam for your required category
- Receive MOHAP Evaluation Certificate
- Search for jobs and Employer applies for professional license on your behalf
Can I work part-time with a MOHAP license?
You cannot work part-time in another health facility without approval from MOHAP. It initially requires NOC(No Objection Certificate) from your primary employer and the second facility (the place where you will work part-time) must apply for your part-time professional license in MOHAP's licensing portal, and this second facility should be eligible to hire part time staff as not all clinics/hospitals are allowed to hire part-time staff.
