What is KMLE Exam Format for GPs?

What is KMLE GP Eligibility Criteria?
A GP(General Practitioner) applying for KMLE exam should meet the following eligibility criteria to be able to appear in the exam.
- Educational Qualification: Must hold MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized university.
- Internship/House-job: Must have completed one year rotating internship/house job after graduation.
- Experience: Valid experience certificates are needed for experienced doctors. For fresh GP applicants, MBBS + 1-year internship is enough to apply.
Is an interview required for KMLE GP exam?
Yes, after passing both papers of written exam, non Kuwaiti applicants must undergo an oral interview to verify their clinical competence, communication skills etc. This step is waived for Kuwaiti nationals.
