Specialist post for DOH / HAAD Abudhabi UAE exam
To be able to work as specialist in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, one is required to pass DOH(Department of Health) Abu Dhabi Pearson Vue exam, unless exempted while meeting exemption criteria. This specialty is a MCQs based exam, generally analysis specialist skills related to clinical diagnosis, investigations, evidence-based management, emergency care & safe practice.
What is exemption criteria for DOH exam (Specialists)?
A doctors may be exempted if he holds any of the related degree/certification, such as;
- American Board Certification
- CCT (UK) or CCST
- FRCS / FRCP (with UK training)
- Canadian Royal College Certification
- Australian/Australasian Board
- German Facharzt
- Irish Board
- New Zealand Vocational Registration
- Saudi / Oman / Kuwait Board (partial recognition depending on category)
