DHA exam for GPs required clinical experience
To be eligible for the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) examination as a General Practitioner (GP), candidates must meet specific clinical experience requirements. A general practitioner (GP) who is willing to practice in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) should meet specific clinical and other requirements. Beside general requirement for recognized medical degree, a candidate should have completed 2 years clinical experience (except internship / house-job) from any public or private hospital or clinic. Even an experience from your owned clinic may count, provided that you have relevant documents to be able to verify duration and nature of clinical experience during Dataflow verification process. Can I use experience certificate from my own clinic?
Yes you can, as long as your clinic is duly registered with the local health authority, because DataFlow process will not accept any unregistered or informal practice experience.
What are the preparation tips for an experience certificate?
- This should be printed at Letterhead and duly signed by the Medical Director, HR, Department Head or other designated personnel.
- Make sure that correct details of yours should be mentioned, such as complete name, job title, job responsibilities, employment dates or other important details.
- It's always a better approach to prepare for an experience certificate before starting the Dataflow process.
- Make sure that Letterhead must contain a verifiable phone number and email address.
