The DOH(Department of Health) in Abu Dhabi oversees the credentialing process for different healthcare professionals seeking medical license to practice in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This process ensures that candidates meet the necessary qualifications and standards to practice safely and effectively.
After getting a positive Dataflow PSV report, candidate can login to DOH user management system, UMS, for credentialing process. This process determines, if the candidate is eligible for the applied category, based upon the provided information, and uploaded documents, related to education and employment background.
Currently, TAMM website is being used for this process for the new users using UAE Pass account.
What are required documents for DOH credentialing process?
The required documents for DOH credential process are a combination of your DataFlow verified documents, plus some additional documents such as;
- Staff Data/ CID Form
- E-tarasol Barcode
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate, required for some health categories.
- Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, ATLS, PALS), required for some health categories.
- Vaccination Certificate
What is Credentialing Process Timeline?
All new applicants must complete credentialing. As soon as you submit your application, your credentialing and review process for license eligibility determination will start. And once it is completed, then you will see 'completed' status in your dashboard. This review process may take 7-14 working days to upto 30 days to review your application.
