HAAD/DOH exam with 2 years clinical experience post internship
The DOH(Department of Health) Abu Dhabi exam has 1 year internship + atleast 2 years full-time, licensed clinical experience post internship requirement for most of the health categories (i.e. General Practitioner, General Dentist, General Nurse (some pathways), Allied health professionals (varying requirements)). Only full-time clinical work from the government of private setup is accepted as experience. Any part time, volunteer, or locum job is not accepted as experience.
Can I apply while my experience is still ongoing?
Yes. DOH may accept as your clinical experience if you have completed at least 23–24 months, or your experience letter states 'to present', but you must complete 2 full years by the time license is issued.
