DOH/HAAD Oral exam and licencing procedure
Who is required to appear for Oral Exam in DOH?
Generally a candidate is only required to appear in Pearson Vue written test, except in cases like;
- Specialist or Consultant level categories where Surgery related practice is mostly involved.
- Candidates with equivalency or exemption cases where written exam exempted but competence still need to be check.
- Candidates with unusual training pathway, gaps, or incomplete clinical requirements.
What is DOH licensing procedure?
- Register via TAMM Portal.
- Complete the DataFlow Verification Process.
- Schedule your exam via Pearson Vue.
- Oral/Viva exam for certain surgical categories.
- After successfully passing the exam, eligibility letter is issued by DOH.
- Secure employment through eligibility letter and license activation is done by the employer.

"I have passed my HAAD/DOH oral exam during last year. On that day, I was informed by a DOH representative that I would need to clear CBT next time to complete my DOH /HAAD licencing procedure. So, I appeared for CBT, which I couldt clear. Both of them were arranged by the Al Salama Hospital, Abu Dhabi, although all the expenses were borne by me. Now, I want to reappear for the next CBT, and I am ready to bear the expenses. Please guide me how to register for Pearson vue next CBT, and is it possible to sit the exam in Indian centers (e.g. Mumbai, Delhi)? My DOH ID Number is AGD6****."
