If I pass the HAAD/DOH exam, can i continue fellowship?
- Yes, passing the DOH exam gives you the licensure foundation needed for many DOH sub-specialty (fellowship). Candidate must apply to DOH's Medical Education (MEAD) program, meet its fellowship-specific criteria, and be accepted.
- Candidate should fulfill age limit, Tier 1/2 specialization certificate requirement, and time between specialization & residency requirements.
- Due to limited application window, begin looking into DOH's Medical Education program early.
What is the age limit to apply for DOH fellowship?
As per DOH's fellowship guidelines, candidate should be ≤ 40 years old (for UAE) or ≤ 36 years old (for non-UAE) when applying.
