HAAD/DOH eligibility criteria for specialist doctors
Specialist doctors who are willing to apply for DOH(Department of Health) Abu Dhabi exam should fulfill the basic medical education requirement(i.e.MBBS/MD/equivalent) from a recognized medical institution. Additionally, Eligibility Criteria may vary as per the specialty you are applying for.
What is the DOH licensing process for specialists?
- TAMM Account: Registration process starts through TAMM Portal.
- DataFlow Verification: All of your documents(i.e. degrees, certificates, experience, good standing etc) are verified by DataFlow Verification Process.
- Credentialing Process: DOH evaluates if your degree fits Tier 1/2/3(American Board, Royal College etc./ MD/MS/DNB, Fellowship etc./ Non-listed programs)
- Pearson Vue Exam: Once DatFlow and credentialing process is completed, candidate is redirected to Pearson Vue portal for exam booking.
- Oral Exam: Some high level surgical related specialties may require candidate to appear in Oral exam.
- Eligibility Letter: Once candidate pass the exam, an eligibility letter is issued by DOH for job search.
