What is MOHAP examination criteria, guideline
MOHAP(Ministry of Health and Prevention) exam criteria varies as per the health category you are applying for. Below is the general guideline for many of the healthcare categories;
- General Practitioner (GP): Should have passed MBBS or equivalent from a recognized university. Should have 2 years of clinical experience post house job/internship.
- Specialist Doctors: Should have passed MD/MS or equivalent specialization. Should have 3 years experience after postgrad.
- Consultants: Should have passed DM/MCh or equivalent. Should have 5 years experience after specialization. Candidates having academic/research background are preferred.
- Dentists: Should have passed BDS or equivalent. Should have 2 years of clinical experience post house job/ internship.
- Pharmacists: Should have passed Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and 2 years of experience.
- Nurses: Should have passed Bachelor of Nursing / Diploma (for older graduates). Should have 2 years of experience and must be licensed in home country.
- Medical Laboratory Technologists: Should have passed BSc in Medical Lab or equivalent. Should have 2 years Experience in recognized lab.
- Radiographers: Should have passed BSc in Radiology or Imaging Tech. Should have 2 years of experience. Must have licensed radiographer in home country.
- Allied Health Professionals: Should have passed Diploma or Bachelor's (depending on category). Should have 2–3 years of experience.
What is the approximate cost for MOHAP exam?
From MOHAP application fee till Eligibility letter issuance process, it may cost an applicant from 2000 to 2500 AED.
