Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), formerly known as Ministry of Health (MOH) requires all medical professionals who are seeking their career in UAE, specially in MOHAP administered Emirates, should pass their medical licensing exam, but these exemptions allow healthcare professional to bypass the Prometric exam while still obtaining a MOHAP license. What are the next steps after Exemption?
MOHAP exam exemption does not automatically earn you a health license under MOHAP(Ministry of Health and Prevention) to be able to legally practice in different Emirates under MOHAP, but a healthcare professional need to fulfill Other Requirements to earn a practicing license.
How to Submit MOHAP Exemption Documents?
Being a healthcare professional, make sure to follow step by step guidelines to submit your exemption documents.
- Create a MOHAP Account at the MOHAP official website and select the required evaluation service.
- Upload the required documents such as your;
- Degrees/Certificates
- Health license from the country you have practised or graduated
- Upload Exemption proof, such as a current and active license copy of any such exam which qualify you as exempted (i.e.DOH, DHA, USMLE, PLAB etc).
- Experience certificate(if required for your health category)
- Valid Passport(not expiring within 6 t 8 months)
- Passport size photograph
- Pay the evaluation fee which may vary from AED 200 to 600 as per your health category.
Once you submit the required documents then they will be subjected to DataFlow PSV process, if they meet exemption criteria then you will be declared exempted to sit from Prometric exam, and will be issued an Eligibility letter.
