What is eligibility criteria for HAAD/DOH exam?
All healthcare professionals must meet DOH(Department of Health) Abu Dhabi eligibility criteria for Physicians, Dentists, Nurses, Pharmacists, as well as other Allied health professionals.
Can i still apply for doh exam if i don't meet eligibility criteria?
Generally a healthcare professional can not apply for DOH exam unitill eligibility criteria is met by him. Instead, one can follow the given guidelines to be able to apply for DOH exam as per his/her situation.
- Wait until you meet the post internship or clinical experience requirement criteria in your home country.
- If you are trying to apply for specialist category but do not meet experience requirement then one can apply for GP(General Practitioner) route instead.
- You may opt for related residency program in Abu Dhabi if you are fresh candidate.
- For candidates having clinical gaps, one can bridge such gap through CME/CPD hours to meet eligibility.
