Job prospects after passing MOHAP exam
- Passing MOHAP(Ministry of Health and Prevention) exam for your health category does not itself allow you to practice in UAE. However, you still need an employer/health facility to activate your license.
- You can only work in hospitals and primary health centers operated by MOHAP in northern Emirates like Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain.
- You can directly apply to hospitals and clinics operated by MOHAP through their career pages.
- UAE Job portals like Indeed UAE, Naukrigulf, GulfTalent etc can also facility you for getting a right job.
- Licensed recruitment agencies can also help you secure your first job.
What is Salary structure after passing MOHAP exam?
Beside passing MOHAP exam, there are many factors influencing your salary structure such as your experience level, your country of qualification, health facility scale, and negotiating skills. The average salary scale according to health category can be as under;
- General Practitioner(GP): For Government hospitals- AED 15000 to 25,000(Monthly). For private sector - AED 10,000 to 20,000(Monthly)
- Specialists: Varies by specialty - AED 25,000 to 50,000(Monthly)
- Consultants: Varies in government & high-end private hospitals - AED 50,000 – 100000(Monthly)
