DOH/HAAD Oral Exam - Who is required to take it?
Generally many of the healthcare professionals are simply required to pass DOH(Department of Health) Abu Dhabi Pearson Vue written exam, like GPs, nurses, and allied health staff. The oral exam is usually required for Surgical specialties (e.g., surgery, dentistry, obstetrics/gynecology or other health categories where hands-on judgment is crucial).
What is DOH Oral Exam Format?
This exam is normally specialty related and consists upon 5 to 6 clinical case scenarios which may include pathological details, radiographs, or other patient records, with a follow-up set of questions from a panel of experts, to ascertain your clinical knowledge, decision making, communication skills, and other related abilities to ensure the safety of the patient.
