MOHAP exam pattern, scope of getting job
The MOHAP(Ministry of Health and Prevention) exam is conducted through Prometric and follows a standardized CBT(Computer Based Testing) MCQs pattern depending on the category (doctor, nurse, pharmacist, allied health). Generally, the required passing score varies in between 60–70% as per the health category.
Healthcare professionals passing this exam have brighter scope in northern Emirates (Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah) as many medical centers are opening up in Sharjah & Ajman specially, increasing the demand for healthcare professionals. There is lower job competition when comparing it with Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Fresh candidates get hired with little ease when comparing it with Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Is the MOHAP exam easier than DHA/DOH?
Although the MOHAP exam syllabus is somehow similar for different health categories, still the MOHAP exam is less tricky than DHA or DOH exam. Moreover, it is more clinically focused and without advanced subspecialty topics.
