MOHAP exemption for overseas Dentist in UK
MOHAP(Ministry of Health and Prevention) may grant exam exemption if you hold a highly recognised licence or specialist qualification from a Tier-1 country(UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Newzealand etc.) and meet all experience/credential criteria. But for UK-educated General Dentists the PQR still indicates 2 years clinical experience is required. There's no explicit public statement that the exam is waived for UK dentists.
What UK-Recognised Qualifications Qualify for Exemption?
If you have a UK dental degree and you are registered with the UK General Dental Council (GDC) (from an accredited UK dental programme), you may satisfy one of the exemption criteria for General Dentist.
If you are a specialist dentist with the UK CCS T (Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training) and are on the UK Dental Council Specialist Register, you are listed for exemption under the Specialist Dentist category.
