Eligibility Criteria For Registered Nurse (RN)
Required: Bachelor degree in general nursing or equivalent qualification of NLT 3 years study duration in “General Nursing” from accredited program.
Valid/current national license.

BLS, ACLS, PALS relevant to area of specialty.
* NOTE: this excludes programs comprising 2 years nursing + 1 year Midwifery or Community Health. Holders of such programs qualify as Practical Nurses.
What is DOH Nursing experience requirement?
Candidates having Bachelor in Nursing should have atleast 2 years experience. Candidates with Diploma in Nursing should also have atleast 2 years experience. Those who have an experience gap during the last 2 years, they would need refresher training or re-examination.
What is the HAAD/DOH nursing exam format?
The DOH nursing is a Pearson Vue CBT (Computer Based Test) exam, consists upon 150 MCQs with 120-150 minutes test duration.
Do Fresh nursing graduates can apply without experience?
Yes, as per the updated Unified Healthcare PQR (Professional Qualification Requirements), fresh nursing graduates (within the past 2 years) are now exempted from the 2 years experience requirement while applying for UAE RN licensing exam, provided they hold a recognized nursing degree. Otherwise, if graduated before 2 years then you must meet experience requirement or take a DOH approved refresher program.
