MOHAP Orthodontics specialty exam, eligibility criteria
To be able to work as specialist/consultant Orthodontics under Ministry of Health & Prevention (MOHAP), candidate must have;
- Primary dental degree (BDS, DDS, DMD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics (such as a Master's, Diploma or Specialty Certificate) of an appropriate duration
- At Least 2 years of post-specialty clinical experience.
- Valid dental license from home country and Good Standing Certificate.
- Verified all credentials by DataFlow process.
What is suggested study plan for the Orthodontics exam?
Since the exam will likely cover Orthodontics-specific topics and general dental practice topics, the key is to review advanced orthodontic theory and clinical practice (growth & development, biomechanics, appliances, treatment planning) plus general dental knowledge (if the exam includes combined content).
