Is there an actual DHA exam schedule for GPs in 2026?
No. DHA does not publish exam dates for GPs, or for any other title. The CBT is delivered continuously through Prometric centres worldwide, and open slots depend on the centre and the day. So the "schedule" that matters is your own: when you become eligible, when you are ready, and which slot is free at a centre near you.

Work backwards from readiness, not from the first free slot. DHA reports only Pass or Fail, and a fail uses one of your 3 attempts, so an early date you are not ready for costs more than a few extra weeks of study.

What does the DHA GP exam day schedule look like?
The DHA CBT guideline lists the GP exam as 150 MCQs in 3 hours, and that time includes registration and the introduction, so the real question time is a little shorter. Plan your day like this:

What is the best exam practice for the DHA GP exam?
Practise the way the exam runs. With any good GP question bank, ours included, that means:

- Read the explanation for every question, including the ones you got right. Learning the reasoning beats memorising the stem.
- Check your analytics weekly and move study time to your weakest subjects.

There is no waiting period. You can apply and book again straight away, within the limit of 3 attempts per position; after a third fail DHA bars a new attempt for 2 years.
