How to Reschedule Pearson VUE DOH / HAAD Exam in 2026?

Reschedule DOH Exam Quick Summary

You reschedule a DOH (HAAD) computer-based exam through your TAMM application, not by calling the test centre. It is free if you do it at least 72 hours before your booked time, and the new date must fall inside your 6-month exam window. Oral exams cannot be moved: you cancel and book a new date, and the booking fee is not refunded.

Plans change. A duty roster, a visa delay, Hajj, a family emergency. Rescheduling a DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) exam is simple if you act early, and expensive if you leave it to the last two days. How to reschedule DOH Pearson VUE exam step by step

STEP 1
Check the clock first
Count back 72 hours from your appointment time (UAE time). If you are still outside that window, the change costs nothing.
STEP 2
Open your application on TAMM
Log in with UAE PASS and open your healthcare professional licence application on TAMM. The Pearson VUE booking is reached from the same application actions you used to book.
STEP 3
Pick a new date and centre
Choose any free slot that falls before your 6-month exam window closes. You may switch to a different Pearson VUE centre or country if one is listed.
STEP 4
Save the new confirmation
Pearson VUE emails a new confirmation from an @pearson.com address. Check spam, and print it. Bring the same ID that matches your application.

If the reschedule option is greyed out or TAMM shows an error, do not book a second slot. Contact Pearson VUE's DOH support (HAADcustomerservices@pearson.com) or DOH (exam@doh.gov.ae) with your application number. Both contacts are on the official Pearson VUE DOH page.

Can I reschedule exam on the exam day?

No. Inside 72 hours the booking is locked for a CBT, and on the day itself you either sit the exam or it becomes a no show. The good news, which the old version of this page got wrong, is that a no show does not use up one of your attempts. You only lose the booking fee and have to pay again for a new slot, which you can book inside the same 6-month window. Will rescheduling exam affect my eligibility?

Not as long as the new date stays inside your 6-month exam step. That clock starts when DOH approves your application, not when you book. Rescheduling does not restart it. If the window closes before you sit the exam, the application closes automatically and you start a new one. Watch your supporting documents too: a good standing certificate is expected to be no older than 6 months, so a long delay can mean getting a fresh good standing certificate.

Practical tips before you change your DOH booking

Book the new slot early
Popular centres can fill weeks ahead. Look at the free dates before you release your current one.
Mind the time zone
The 72 hours are counted against your appointment. If you are outside the UAE, convert carefully and give yourself a day of margin.
Do not pay twice
Rescheduling a CBT on time is free. If a page asks for a new booking fee, stop and check you have not started a fresh booking by mistake.
Keep a record
Screenshot the TAMM status and keep the Pearson VUE emails. They help if anything has to be corrected later.

How do I reschedule my DOH exam?

Is there a fee to reschedule the DOH exam?

Not for a computer-based exam rescheduled at least 72 hours ahead; DOH states that no additional fee applies. Oral exams cannot be rescheduled: you cancel, lose the booking fee and book again.

What if I miss my DOH exam?

A no show is not counted as an attempt, but the booking fee is not refunded. You can book a new slot as long as your 6-month exam window is still open.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my DOH exam?

For a CBT, the booking fee is refunded if you cancel at least 72 hours before the booked date. Inside 72 hours, and for oral exams, the booking fee is not refunded.

Does rescheduling extend my 6-month exam window?

No. The window runs from DOH approval and does not move when you change the date. If it expires, the application closes and you need to apply again.

Team Interface: Abu Dhabi needs a DOH licence. A valid MOHAP licence in the same title (or one cancelled within 6 months) can exempt you from the DOH exam, but a licence from 2004 that has lapsed will not. See transferring a MOHAP licence to DOH.
