MOHAP Guidelines for MBBS/MD students from Ukraine, China, Russia
Doctors who have completed MBBS from Ukraine, China, Russia may face some challenges while applying for MOHAP(Ministry of Health and Prevention) exam.
- Degree Recognition: Your degree must be from WHO-listed medical universities, if not recognized by UAE then you may face rejection.
- Internship Requirements: You should have one year internship/house-job post graduation which should be full time in a clinical, hospital-based setup. If you only passed MBBS/MD from any such country but could not complete your internship and have returned to your home country such as India then you will be required to pass the FMGE(Foreign Medical Graduate Exam) in India. After FMGE, apply for Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) in India (through NMC/state medical council). Once you finish internship and get permanent NMC registration then you can apply for MOHAP exam as a General Practitioner.
- Medical Council Registration: You must show current permanent registration from the medical council in India or home country.
- Good Standing Certificate: If you have passed FMGE then Good Standing Certificate(GSC) must be from the Medical Council of India (NMC) or equivalent.
Can I do internship directly in UAE?
No. UAE does not offer stand alone internships for foreign graduates. You must already have completed internship from your home country (part of your MBBS program) or after FMGE + CRRI in India.
What if my documents are in Russian/Ukrainian/Chinese?
While doing DataFlow process, you must upload both originals as well as certified English translations.
