Eligibility Criteria for MOH Oman (OMSB) General Dentist Exam?
Candidate who is willing to practice as General Dentist in the Sultanate of Oman is required to pass OMSB(Oman Medical Specialty Board) exam but before that he is required to fulfill the eligibility criteria to be able to appear in written exam.
- He must hold a BDS or equivalent degree from a recognized dental university.
- He must have atleast 2 years of clinical experience post internship/house job.
- He must pass viva/oral/assessment component.
What is the exam format and syllabus?
The OMSB General Dentist exam is divided into two parts, a written MCQs based exam followed by an Oral/Viva exam. Generally there are 100 MCQs which need to be solved within 2.5 hours as total given exam duration. To pass this exam, a candidate is required to score 65% or more.
