What are MOHAP Exam Requirements, Schedule and Documents in 2026?

There is no fixed MOHAP exam calendar. The honest answer is that there is no date to give: MOHAP (Ministry of Health and Prevention) does not publish an exam calendar, and you pick your own Prometric slot once you are cleared. What decides how soon you can sit the exam is how ready your file is. This page is a readiness check: the requirements you must meet before you can book, the documents needed at each stage, and a realistic timeline. What are the MOHAP exam requirements before you can book?

MOHAP checks these before it lets you sit the exam. If one is missing, no date will open for you, however early you start looking.

  • A qualification accredited in its home country, matching a title in the Unified PQR.
  • Licensed experience where your title needs it. Non-UAE GPs and general dentists need at least 2 years after internship, counted from the date the licence was issued. A Registered Nurse needs none.
  • No gap in practice of more than 2 years.
  • A good standing certificate dated within the last 6 months.
  • A positive DataFlow report on your documents.
  • Fewer than 3 MOHAP attempts used in that category. A 4th MOHAP attempt is not allowed.

What documents must be submitted?

The documents are not all needed at once. Here is what each stage asks for:

How long from application to MOHAP exam date?

STEP 1
Evaluation request: about 5 working days
MOHAP reviews your request after you submit and pay through UAE PASS, then sends a link to pay for DataFlow.
STEP 2
DataFlow verification: about 15 to 25 working days
This is the long stage. Delays usually come from an unsigned Letter of Authorisation, a missing document, or a university or employer slow to reply.
STEP 3
Exam decision
After a positive report MOHAP either schedules you for the exam or grants an exemption. Your eligibility details appear in your MOHAP account.
STEP 4
Book a Prometric seat
You choose the date and centre on Prometric. Seats in busy cities can fill a few weeks ahead, so book as soon as you are cleared.

Add those up and most candidates should plan for 4 to 6 weeks from a complete application to the first possible exam date, longer if DataFlow raises a query. Start revising while you wait, not after.

Is there a fixed MOHAP exam schedule?

No. Although there is no fixed exam schedule for the MOHAP exam, you can schedule the MOHAP exam on Prometric once you are cleared after your evaluation. Prometric runs the MOH exam at test centres in many countries, so you are not limited to the UAE. Remember that a cancelled appointment or a no-show counts as one of your 3 attempts. Why can't I find a MOHAP exam date?

  • No dates shown at all: your file is usually not cleared yet. Check that DataFlow is complete and your report is positive on MOHAP DataFlow application status.
  • Dates shown but full: try another centre or city, and check again over the next few days, as seats are released when others reschedule.
  • Looking on the MOHAP website: dates are not listed there. They appear only on Prometric when you book.
