Have Passed SMLE exam, am I Exempted for MOHAP UAE?
Healthcare professionals who have successfully passed Saudi Medical Licensing Exam (SMLE) exam, conducted by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), does not automatically qualify you to be considered exempted for the MOHAP UAE exam, which is conducted by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), because MOHAP UAE has specific Exemption Criteria for Doctors and other healthcare professionals.
Holding a SMLE or MOHAP license represents two different countries having different health ministries. Therefore, holding a valid UAE medical license issued from different available health ministries in the UAE, such as the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or the Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi, may qualify you for an exemption to MOHAP exam, but holding SMLE will not typically qualify for this exemption.
However, if you have been practicing as a licensed healthcare professional under SCFHS then some healthcare categories depending upon their specialty as well as experience, may be allowed to be exempted for the MOHAP licensing exam.

Even if you are declared exempt from the MOHAP exam but still you need to complete certain processes to be able to earn a MOHAP license.

- Your MOHAP account should be created.
- Apply for an Eligibility Letter which will enable you to apply for job.
- Secure a job offer to convert your eligibility letter into a health license by your employer.
