USMLE passed, exempted from DOH /HAAD exam
The DOH(Department of Health) Abu Dhabi recognises many international exams as per it Exemption Criteria, which also includes USMLE steps(1, 2 CK, 2 CS, 3) but to be exempted from written DOH Pearson Vue Exam, a candidate is required to be ECFMG certified beside passing all steps.
What are documents required for Exemption?
You may need the following documents to be able to consider exempted by DOH for the written exam.
- All certificates from USMLE Steps(1, 2 CK, 2 CS, 3).
- Your MBBS/MD degree with transcripts.
- Post degree internship/house-job experience certificate.
- Postgraduation certificates (if applying for specialist/consultant).
- Good Standing Certificate, which should be valid.
- Passport, photo, and updated CV.
How long does exemption approval take?
Exemption approval from DOH may typically take 4 to 8 weeks after Dataflow verification.
