HAAD/DOH medical practitioner licence in Abu dhabi
The DOH(Department of Health) Abu Dhabi medical professional license is issued by the DOH that allows physicians to legally practice medicine in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The license is typically valid for 1 year and must be renewed annually. Many physicians must pass a DOH licensing exam which is a Pearson Vue based CBT(Computer Based Testing) assessment. However, some may be exempted to sit for a written exam based upon meeting exemption criteria for their related category.
How much does a DOH medical practitioner license cost?
The total cost depends upon the medical practitioner category(e.g. general physician, specialist) and number of documents you presented for the DataFlow process. But typically the total cost from TAMM registration till license activation can be about AED 5,000 to 6,000.
