MOHAP Obs Gyn Specialty exam & Eligibility requirements
MOHAP(Ministry of Health and Prevention) is the required exam for Obs and Gyn specialists who are willing to practice in the UAE. This exam contains more of the specialty related questions. To be eligible for this specialty exam, besides basic MBBS degree, candidates should have a postgraduate degree such as MD/MS/DNB/FCPS/MRCOG/Arab Board, etc. and at least 4 years structured residency or training in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Is MRCOG accepted for MOHAP Obs and Gyn exam exemption?
Generally MOHAP accepts MRCOG (Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK) as possible exemption for this specialty written exam, but candidate should have completed full MRCOG (Part 3 completed) with at least 2 years of post-MRCOG clinical experience.
