MOHAP DataFlow Requirements for Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses 2026
MOHAP DataFlow Requirements Quick Summary
For MOHAP DataFlow, doctors, pharmacists and nurses all submit their degree, a professional licence covering the same period as their experience, experience certificates, a good standing certificate from the health authority where they work, a valid passport and copies of any previous DataFlow reports. Doctors applying as specialist or consultant also submit their specialty qualification, and the DataFlow report must be positive before MOHAP issues the evaluation certificate.
DataFlow is the primary source verification (PSV) step of the MOHAP (Ministry of Health and Prevention) Health Professional Evaluation. DataFlow contacts your university, hospitals and licensing bodies and asks them to confirm each document you uploaded. This page is the document checklist, profession by profession, and what to do if the report does not come back positive. For the full exam process, the paper format and the usual DataFlow timeline, read our MOHAP exam format and DataFlow process guide.
Which documents does MOHAP DataFlow verify for every profession?
MOHAP publishes one document list for all categories (physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and midwives, and allied health). Every applicant uploads:
- Academic qualification: your degree or diploma, with transcripts or mark sheets if asked.
- Proof of work experience in your specialty, on the employer's letterhead with start and end dates.
- Professional licence or registration that matches the period of that experience. MOHAP counts experience from the date your licence was issued, so unlicensed months do not help.
- Good Standing Certificate from the health authority in the country where you work, issued within the last 6 months.
- Valid passport and a recent photograph.
- Copies of all previous DataFlow reports and any exemption documents.
- Certified legal translation of any certificate not in Arabic or English.
DataFlow also asks for a signed Letter of Authorisation (a template is on the DataFlow site) and name change proof, such as a marriage certificate, if the name on any document differs from your passport.
What are required documents for Doctors?
On top of the common list, doctors should have:
- Basic medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) and internship completion certificate.
- Specialty qualification (board certification, fellowship, residency completion) if you apply as a specialist or consultant.
- Experience certificates for the years you claim. A GP needs 2 years of clinical experience after internship under the Unified PQR.
- A surgical record or logbook if you are in a surgical specialty.
- Medical licence or registration from your home country or last country of practice.
Which title you can apply for (GP, specialist or consultant) and the experience each needs is on our MOHAP requirements for doctors page. The physician document list with formatting tips is on MOHAP documents for physicians, and dentists should read the MOHAP dentist requirements.
What are required documents for Nurses & Midwives?
- Nursing or midwifery qualification (BSc Nursing, Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery). Under the PQR, a Registered Nurse needs a nursing bachelor's degree of at least 3 years and an Assistant Nurse a diploma of at least 18 months.
- Experience certificates, if you have experience. Registered Nurse and Assistant Nurse titles do not require prior experience under the PQR, so fresh graduates can apply.
- Nursing licence or registration from your home country or last country of practice.
- Good Standing Certificate and passport.
The full nurse checklist is on MOHAP documents for nurses.
What are required documents for Pharmacists?
- Pharmacy degree (BPharm, PharmD or MPharm) with transcripts.
- Experience certificates.
- Pharmacy licence or registration from your home country or last country of practice.
- Good Standing Certificate and passport.
MOHAP lists pharmacist evaluation as a separate e-service, so check the pharmacist option on the MOHAP portal before you start. Our MOHAP documents for pharmacists page has the detail.

What does a positive, discrepancy or unable to verify report mean?
DataFlow sends one of three outcomes. MOHAP only moves you forward on a positive report.
Most discrepancies we see are small: an experience letter that says "Medical Officer" while the licence says "House Officer", or joining dates that differ by a month between two letters. Fix these before you upload. If DataFlow tells you something is missing, our DataFlow missing information guide explains how to respond.
How to complete MOHAP DataFlow process?
The process now runs through UAE PASS and the MOHAP website or app. In order:
How long does MOHAP DataFlow take, and what delays it?
DataFlow's standard turnaround is about 15 to 25 working days from payment, provided your file is complete. Slow universities and hospitals are the usual reason it takes longer. We list the common delay causes on the MOHAP format and DataFlow page, so we will not repeat them here. One practical point: tell your university registrar and your hospital HR office in advance that a DataFlow email is coming. That single phone call saves many candidates two or three weeks.
Can I reuse a DataFlow report from DHA or DOH?
Yes, often. MOHAP asks you to attach previous DataFlow reports, and DataFlow can transfer or re-issue a report for a new regulator, sometimes with extra documents. See DataFlow report transfer to DHA, DOH and MOH and our comparison of MOHAP DataFlow with DHA and DOH.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is DataFlow mandatory for the MOHAP exam?
Yes. DataFlow verification is part of the MOHAP Health Professional Evaluation for every category, and the report must be positive. You pay for it through a link MOHAP sends after your evaluation request is approved.
Do I need to attest my documents for MOHAP DataFlow?
DataFlow verifies documents directly with the issuer, so attestation is not what it checks. What you do need is a certified legal translation for any certificate that is not in Arabic or English, and clear, complete scans of the originals.
Can a fresh nursing graduate apply to MOHAP without experience?
Yes for the Registered Nurse and Assistant Nurse titles, which need no prior experience under the Unified PQR. You still need your nursing licence or registration, a good standing certificate and a positive DataFlow report.
How old can my good standing certificate be?
It should be issued within the last 6 months when you submit. If DataFlow or MOHAP takes long and it expires during the process, you may be asked for a fresh one, so request it close to your application date.
What happens if my MOHAP DataFlow report is negative?
MOHAP does not continue the evaluation without a positive report. For a discrepancy, send DataFlow the correction or explanation letter from the issuer. For an unable to verify result, get the institution to respond and ask DataFlow to re-verify within its appeal window.
