MOHAP Eligibility ID and Registration Requirements 2026

MOHAP Eligibility ID Quick Summary

The MOHAP eligibility ID is the exam reference you receive once MOHAP has approved your Health Professional Evaluation request, your DataFlow verification has gone through and the evaluation officer has decided you need the Prometric exam. You enter it on the Prometric website to book your test. To reach that point you apply with UAE PASS, upload your documents and pay the evaluation fee (AED 500 for physicians and dentists, AED 400 for nurses and midwives, AED 300 for allied health).

Most questions we get about the eligibility ID are really one question: "I applied weeks ago, where is my ID?" This page explains what the ID is, what MOHAP checks before it is issued, how you use it on Prometric, and what to do when it does not arrive. What Is the MOHAP Eligibility ID?

After you complete the MOHAP (Ministry of Health and Prevention) Health Professional Evaluation request and upload the documents for your category, MOHAP reviews the file and sends it for DataFlow verification. When the officer decides an exam is needed, your application moves to exam scheduling and you get the eligibility details (usually called the eligibility ID or eligibility number) that Prometric asks for. Without it you cannot book.

Document checklists by category: Physicians, Dentists, Nurses and Pharmacists. Allied health professionals follow the same process under their own PQR chapter.

Two things to know. If MOHAP accepts an exemption, you will not get an eligibility ID at all, because there is no exam to book; the evaluation goes straight to the certificate. And the ID is not the same as the evaluation certificate you get after passing, which is explained on MOHAP evaluation certificate after passing.

What is MOHAP registration and application process?

In outline, the ID comes at the end of this sequence:

STEP 1
Log in with UAE PASS
Start the Health Professional Evaluation on the MOHAP website or smart app. The old username and password portal is gone.
STEP 2
Select your title and upload documents
Choose your professional category and title, then upload your documents, any previous DataFlow reports and any exemption documents.
STEP 3
Pay the evaluation fee
Payment is online by e-payment when you submit. MOHAP lists AED 500 for physicians and dentists, AED 400 for nurses and midwives and AED 300 for allied health and TCAM.
STEP 4
MOHAP review, then DataFlow
MOHAP reviews the request within 5 working days and sends a link to pay for DataFlow verification. DataFlow checks your documents with the issuing institutions, and the result must be positive.
STEP 5
Exam eligibility or exemption
The process then continues either to exam scheduling, which is where the eligibility ID comes in, or to an exemption if your exemption documents were accepted.
STEP 6
Pass, then evaluation certificate
After you pass the exam, MOHAP issues your evaluation certificate for the licensing stage.

MOHAP registration requirements checked before the ID is issued

Most delays happen because something in this list is missing or does not match. Check it before you pay:

Eligible title under the PQR
MOHAP asks you to check the Unified Healthcare Professional Qualification Requirements first. GPs and general dentists trained outside the UAE need 2 years of experience after internship; see MOHAP two years clinical experience requirement.
Experience and a matching licence
Proof of work experience in your specialty plus a professional licence that covers the same period. MOHAP counts experience from the licence issue date.
Good Standing Certificate
From the health authority where you work, dated within the last 6 months. See MOHAP good standing certificate.
Language and translation
Certificates must be in Arabic or English. Anything else needs a legal, certified translation uploaded together with the original.
No long gap in practice
MOHAP does not accept an interruption in practice of more than 2 years. The rules for longer gaps are on the MOHAP clinical gap policy page.
Passport and DataFlow history
A valid passport, and copies of all previous DataFlow reports if you were verified before for DHA, DOH or another employer.

How do you use the eligibility ID to book the Prometric exam?

Go to Prometric's MOH UAE exam page, choose Schedule, and enter the eligibility details exactly as MOHAP shows them. Then pick a test centre, date and time, and pay the Prometric fee shown at booking. The MOH exam is offered at Prometric centres in the UAE and in many other countries, including India, Pakistan and the Philippines; the locator shows what is open to you. One warning that costs people an attempt every year: Prometric states that for MOH exams a cancelled or no-show appointment counts as one of your three attempts. Book a date you will actually keep.

Why has my MOHAP eligibility ID not arrived?

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I find my MOHAP eligibility ID?

It is shown in your MOHAP evaluation application once MOHAP has approved your request, DataFlow has gone through and the evaluation officer has decided you need the exam. You then enter it on the Prometric MOH exam page to book. If your file shows an accepted exemption, there is no eligibility ID because there is no exam.

Do I need 2 years of experience to get the eligibility ID?

It depends on your title. GPs and general dentists trained outside the UAE need 2 years of licensed experience after internship under the Unified PQR, while registered nurses have no minimum experience requirement. Check your own title in the PQR before paying the evaluation fee.

Can I take the MOHAP exam in my home country?

Usually yes. The MOH exam is a Prometric computer-based test offered at Prometric centres in the UAE and many other countries. You choose the centre when you book with your eligibility ID.

Do I need an e-Dirham card to pay MOHAP fees?

No. MOHAP's Health Professional Evaluation is paid online by e-payment when you submit the request, and the DataFlow fee is paid through the link MOHAP sends after approval. If a payment fails, contact MOHAP on 80011111.

Does cancelling my Prometric booking count as an attempt?

Yes, for MOH exams. Prometric states that a cancelled or no-show appointment counts as one of your three attempts, and MOHAP does not allow a fourth attempt in the same category.

Team Interface: Dubai is licensed by DHA, not MOHAP, so pick the authority by where the job is; in Sharjah, confirm with the employer whether MOHAP or the Sharjah Health Authority will license you. Dietitians apply under allied health, and the experience needed is set in the allied health chapter of the PQR.
