MOH Oman OMSB examination for Internal Medicine
OMSB (Oman Medical Specialty Board) requires all physicians who are willing to work as Internal Medicine specialist in Oman to sit for an internal medicine exam. This is a Pearson Vue based exam and can be taken at affiliated centers outside Oman. This exam consists of two parts. Passing the Part-I exam is required to progress in the OMSB Internal Medicine residency. After completing training and passing Part-II, you can receive the Specialty Certificate.
How to best prepare for OMSB Internal Medicine exam?
- Go through internal medicine textbooks, such as Harrison, Kumar & Clark, etc. But do not rely only on textbooks.
- Practice with OMSB Internal Medicine Qbank created by Interface Medical Education for better preparation.
- Take full length timed test with Qbank to get used to yourself with exam-day stress.
- Try to connect with OMSB residents or alumni through online social networks means, to understand Part-I & II patterns.
