What are registration requirements for MOHAP GPs?
The registration process for a GP(General Practitioner) with MOHAP(Ministry of Health and Prevention) involves meeting eligibility criteria, passing evaluation and (if required) exam, and applying for the licence. Candidate must have a recognised primary medical degree (e.g., MBBS, or equivalent) from a recognised institution, and should have 2 years relevant work/clinical experience with no training gap.
How to renew MOHAP GP license?
To renew MOHAP(Ministry of Health and Prevention) GP license, one must follow the process which involves the steps such as;
- The employer/candidate himself is required login to MOHAP account and select the License Renewal service.
- Upload the required documents like insurance certificate, CME proof, any fitness report(if required), ensure the health license is active and linked to health facility.
- Pay the renewal fee, approximately AED 3000.
- Once approved, new health license is issued and can be downloaded from MOHAP account.
- The health facility activates the renewed license if needed for you to continue practicing.
